What?
Arlington Cardinal Track Club (ACTC) - named after the 1st school in District 214, even has the same color scheme (red and black)

Who?
•High school athletes from D214
•Middle school students feeding into D214 schools
•Elementary students (at least 9 years old) feeding into D214 schools

Why?
•Provide summer competitive opportunities - for athletes looking for summer competitions, it is very difficult to find them without a club affiliation.
•Provide summer training opportunities - for athletes looking for more training opportunities, for athletes with no training at their school
•Promote the sport, through ongoing training and competitive opportunities, and through exposing athletes to all events (especially the younger athletes, many who have not even done the sport or have had a very limited exposure to)
•Help all athletes with speed development (speed is a skill that can be taught, every athlete should work on it!)

When?
In the evenings (6:00-8:00), twice a week (Mondays and Wednesdays), 6 weeks, starting June 12 and ending July 26 (not the week of 4th of July)

Where?
Prospect High School

How much?
$25 if you have proof of membership in USATF (go to http://USATF.org, sign up, register on Arlington Cardinal Track Club)
or
$5 per session (max of $50)
or
$3 per session if proof of enrollment in D214 track or cross country summer camp

Other issues?
•I have several qualified D214 coaches lined up
•I have insurance through USATF (national track organization), ITCCCA (Illinois track coaches organization), and ICA (Illinois Coaches Association)
